Mt Norquay Ski Resort is located near the township of Banff and is famous for being the training ground of Olympic and World Cup athletes. It is a boutique ski resort that offers 503 metres of vertical and 28 trails spread across 190 acres of terrain.
Mt Norquay is a family-friendly, uncrowded resort offering sensational views and the closest ski resort to Banff. A favourite among EA Ski and Snowboard Training Interns, Mt Norquay is the perfect place to become an instructor offering a close-knit working environment, night skiing and guaranteed snow. This is the best-kept secret in the Canadian Rockies.

* Please be aware that the City Orientations are an extra cost for the Internships. There is no City Orientation option available for Queenstown (NZ), Imagine Niseko (Japan), Niseko Village (Japan) & Rusutsu (Japan).

* Accommodation differs from resort to resort, please speak with our team to check on this for your preferred resort. Usually accommodation is covered until the end of the level 1 exam with an option to remain at your own cost for the remainder of the season.

EA Ski and Snowboard Training Interns will live in Banff, the highest town in Canada. Banff is a bustling resort town with a fun nightlife scene.
Working as an instructor at Mt. Norquay offers great opportunities for anyone interested in pursuing their instructor career. Mt Norquay employees are well supported and provided with internal training opportunities. A high level of professionalism and organisational skills are expected, and you can expect to be busy during the holiday weeks such as Christmas and public holidays, with less work available during the remainder of the season.

Accommodation during our internship program at Mt Norquay is located at the HI Banff Hostel This is a hostel-style lodge with all the amenities you need. Keep your eyes peeled for the wildlife that regularly wanders through town.
You will be able to get a bus pass for easy exploration of downtown Banff.
EA will cover the accommodation for the first month of training, and you will then have an option to extend your stay at HI Banff at a cost of $35 per night, paid fortnightly in advance, directly to the Hostel.

EA Ski and Snowboard Training want you to have the best season possible at Norquay. This means that we have a program manager on the ground, who is easily contacted and there to offer advice and support at all times. They will be a familiar face to make your gap year and first winter season that much easier.

Our ski internship plus program at Norquay, Banff allow you to obtain a globally recognised qualification with PSIC.
The PSIC qualification is highly regarded in the industry and a qualification with the Canadian system will build your technical understanding and allow you to effectively instruct skiing.
Remember that if you are taking a plus internship, the level 2 exam fees are not included as not everyone chooses to sit these.
