EA Ski & Snowboard Training has developed short 1-2 day Arrival Orientations to ensure you are met at the airport safely on arrival, have a bed to sleep in after the long flight, and time to chill and get to know your new mates before you get into your training.
EA Arrival Orientations Can Include*:
- Airport welcome and hotel transfer
- One or two night’s accommodation (depending on course)
- Evening meal at a local restaurant and breakfast
- City sightseeing!
- A day to organize essentials (where applicable) – tax ID number, bank account, mobile phone
- Transfer to your training resort
- Meet your EA Program Manager who will be your man-on-the-ground for the winter!

Canada
Canadian Arrival Orientations take place in two different cities, which vary depending on your internship or training program location. This is your introduction to all things Canada: burgers, beer, big mountains, moose, maple syrup and good times. Let the fun begin!
Japan
Our Japanese Internships in Honshu (Hakuba SSS, Evergreen, Shiga Kogen, Appi Kogen & Canyons) begin with an Arrival Orientation in the amazing beating heart of Japan, Tokyo! This is your chance to experience the weird, wacky and wonderful beast that is Tokyo, with your new mates for the season! EA helps ensure you arrive safely, explore the highlights, a night out at an authentic restaurant and maybe some karaoke! Hokkaido courses (Niseko Schools, Rusutsu) have an orientation locally within their resort. Club Med is also a Hokkaido course but does include a Tokyo orientation.
New Zealand
Arrival Orientations for our kiwi courses begin in either Auckland, Christchurch or Queenstown. Famous for its spectacular scenery, nightlife, and endless adrenaline-pumping activities, Queenstown is a fantastic spot to kick off your time in NZ with your new internship mates! Auckland is New Zealand's biggest city and based right in the city centre you'll be able to embrace those city vibes before heading to resort.
Note Queenstown Arrival Orientations are included in program cost as it's located in the same place as the training.
Switzerland
Arrival Orientations for our Swiss internships take place in Geneva. Here we will make sure you are met safely, have a chance to chill and spend time with your new intern buddies, for a night of fun and relaxation, before heading into those hallowed hills for the European season of a lifetime...
USA
Sightseeing and socialising before the snow - Reno is the perfect spot to start your American adventure. You lucky interns heading to Northstar will have one day based in the big smoke enjoying everything it has to offer... maybe even a trip to Alcatraz!
*Please note that due to Covid-19 restrictions, this orientation is currently set to happen in the City of Reno. This location will be assessed again closer to the start of the season.
