Certification Overview
Our ski and snowboard internships and training courses at Big White Resort, Canada are run in conjunction with either the CSIA (Ski) or CASI (Snowboard).
Both the CSIA and CASI are internationally recognised snowsports associations and are the governing bodies for ski and snowboard instructor qualifications in Canada. CASI and CSIA qualifications are highly regarded in the industry and a qualification with the Canadian system will build your technical understanding and allow you to effectively instruct skiing or snowboarding.
Remember that if you are taking a plus internship, the level 2 course fees are not included as not everyone chooses to sit these.
Program Manager
Every season we have a resort representative at Big White who is easily contacted and there to offer advice and support at all times. Not only are they familiar with Big White itself, but they also work for the ski school and will be a familiar face, ready to make your gap year and first winter season that much easier.
