What it's like working at

What it's like training in

Kiroro

If you like the idea of untracked powder, the opportunity to join a snow school with a family feel and opportunities to improve your backcountry skills, then this is for you. Given the resort is a little more isolated than Niseko life here is more about the pow than the party. However, there will be a great laid back social vibe and plenty of variety for everyone.

Once certified you will be giving mainly adult group lessons, as well as private lessons for all ages. The ski school also offers guiding services so there will be opportunities for new instructor staff to learn further skills in this area and also shadow this side of the operation.

Accommodation

Staff are accommodated a short 5 minute drive from the lifts in a new building. You will be sharing with between 1 – 3 others in dorm style rooms, with bathroom facilities and shared kitchens. There is also large warm communal areas and a waxing room for ski tech work.

Transport options are available and staff are required to bring international driving permits. There will also be a staff bus will run to and from mountain, and weekly shopping trips to Kutchan or Otaru. Meal options and discounts are also available for staff close to accommodation.

*The above is an indicative based on last season and is subject to change based on availability and updates to pricing
