Through EA's Instructor Internship Course at Zermatt, you will train with European Snowsport. Training begins in late November and exams take place before Christmas. In January, you will kick off your level two training, first aid and avalanche training with your second exam taking place later that month. Between February and April, there are instructor job opportunities for those who successfully complete the program and have shown the kind of professional approach required by European Snowsport of all of its employees.
Zermatt's interconnected ski areas include Rothorn, Gornergrat, Matterhorn Glacier Paradise and Schwarzsee. Also connected by lift to the Breuil-Cervinia-Valtournenche ski area, this means endless long runs up to 21km long!

We provide season-long accommodation options for your time in Zermatt that may vary between seasons. In recent years our interns have stayed in an upmarket apartment building a short walk from Zermatt town centre and a more cost effective hotel a short ride from the mountain. The accommodation in town is generally new and is very comfortable, well located, and costs approx. 800-1200CHF per month depending on final program numbers. Please note, quoted rates and location are based on previous seasons and are subject to change. We always endeavour to provide an option where the cost of the accommodation is relative to its quality and location, so you have a fantastic season and feel comfortable throughout.
Our Ski Internship at Zermatt allows you to obtain a globally recognised qualification with the BASI (British Association of Snowsports Instructors) so you can teach beginner to intermediate ski lessons. BASI formally constituted in 1963, is a UK based membership, and its qualification pathway is recognised internationally and BASI is a member of the International Ski Instructors Association (ISIA).
